Dancehall artiste Tommy Lee Sparta was reportedly forced to put on hold his Shook tour of Canada after he was denied a visa.
It is said that Heavy D, a member of Tommy Lee’s managing team, tells
sources that it is an unfortunate mistake and that an error was made by
the agency on one of the forms submitted.
It is understood that all tickets were purchased for the artiste and
his entourage to travel to Canada. However, after an interview last
Thursday with the Canadian High Commission in Kingston, Tommy Lee’s
application for a visa was reportedly denied.
It is said that promoters were subsequently forced to cancel their events which Tommy Lee Sparta was expected to headline.
Following reports, Tommy Lee’s Shook Tour of Canada had been
reportedly plagued with delays, as on January 24, the tour was postponed
due to an alleged health issue which the artiste was suffering from.
The artiste’s management claimed doctors had ordered him to rest and
refrain from flying for a week, to which the tour was then rescheduled
for February 22.
